My story

Hello! My name is Marilyn!


I was rescued from a high kill shelter in KY. When MRT rescued me and my BFF Liza we had a skin condition that was caused from fleas and being fed yucky food. We were given medicated baths and put on antibiotics and now I look amazingly beautiful and I'm all better.

I am a super sweet girl! I love everyone...children, adults and other dogs! I love to run and play with my foster brothers, they are so much fun! I would make a wonderful addition to your family if you already have another dog or as a single dog.

I am not only adorable, I love to snuggle. I would love to go to the dog park with you so I can make new friends, or play in the backyard and play fetch and then snuggle with you at night on the couch or in your bed.

I have been told that I have an amazing personality. I know my foster mom may be a bit biased, but she's one smart lady. I definitely need a house and family that has a nice big fenced in yard so I can run and have play time outside. I love chew toys, and I prefer to watch Animal Planet, but, I promise I won't hog the t.v.
