Meet Kate! Kate is a young (1-2 year old) female, spayed Jack Russell Terrier. Kate was surrendered to a high kill shelter in Kentucky with a sweater ingrown into her neck. Kate has been treated for her skin infection and is doing well. She is healthy now and is ready to find her forever home.
Kate is currently being fostered with 3 dogs and 3 cats. Kate has yet to meet another dog that she doesn't like! She loves everyone she meets and loves to play. She is an active dog who loves to hike, enjoys rides in the car and is most often found wrestling with one of her foster brothers. Kate is an extremely gentle little lady and would be a great addition to any family. She walks well on a leash and is crate and house trained.
Kate loves to chew on antler and marrow bones and shares nicely with her housemates. Kate is a very active dog, but also loves to snuggle with her human housemates as well. She will gladly curl up on your lap for a tummy rub or a nap.
Kate is very well socialized; she has been at work every day at the vet hospital with her foster mom (who is a vet) and gets along great with everyone and everydog who comes in. Kate is sure to win her way into anyone's heart.

Kate weighs approximately 12 pounds.

If there are children in the family that is applying to adopt, they must be over 6 years old.
Kate is up to date on routine vaccinations, heartworm negative, and crate trained. She is on heartworm preventative and advantix.
Fuzzy Face Rescue's adoption process includes an adoption application, reference checks and a home visit. We will only adopt to people who are located within 75 minutes driving distance from the 06371 zip code.
