Our orphans are delivered to the northeast every Saturday via USDA certified transport and come fully vetted with health certificates. Hi ! My name is Jackson. I am a sweet, happy, one year old black lab mix.My previous family surrendered me for financial reasons. I am in a foster home with several other dogs. I LOVE kids and will follow them everywhere they go. I have not been exposed to cats. I am an active boy that would love a nice fenced yard to play ball in and run around. I have had surgergy on my back leg a few months ago for a broken femur and am still rebuilding my muscles. Because I broke my leg while I was still growing.. my leg healed about an inch shorter than the other three. I function just fine but will always have a limp. I would do best in a home with no stairs but I can tollerate a few. I am a young boy that likes to GO all day if you will let me, but if I do too much... my leg will let me know. If you are looking for a jogging partner, Jackson is not for you... if you are looking for a perfect family pet or companion... then he is your guy!
