Bruce is a gentle, friendly, loyal young man who was dumped out by the river where a family found him and tied him to the shelter gate over the weekend leaving a voicemail saying the dog was there. When the on-call officer got to the shelter to get the dog he was no longer tied up, but he was found later that day hiding under an abandoned house. He was in very bad shape; skinny, covered in fleas and ticks, and scared. He is putting on weight and has had a freshing flea and tick bath and now feels like a new man. He lays down when you go to give him his food and when you walk into the kennel he leans against you resting his head on your side. He loves attention and really enjoys being loved on. Bruce is very relaxed and well mannered, come meet him today!
