Meet Drake, the sweetest and most beautiful purebred male Weimaraner around. This beautiful boy is such a good boy with a wonderful heart and calm easy disposition. He is truly a gentle giant.
Drake is 3 years old and has a lovely temperament. At about 75 lbs, Drake is a gentle boy who is beautifully bred and the perfect size for a handsome purebred male Weimaraner.
Drake is a true lover. He really loves his people and is such a good boy in the house. He is obedient and trained and knows some commands. All he wants to do it please his person and he loves to be close and by your side.
He is wonderful in the car, in the house, at dog park, and really just anywhere you want to take him. He loves to go on errands with his person or is just as happy to stay home with his doggie pals.
Drake was turned in to a very high kill shelter in the Los Angeles area. When we found him at the shelter he was so afraid he could barely move. We don’t know how anyone could leave him there. He is so very sweet and sensitive, and within an hour of leaving the shelter he was a completely different dog, he became relaxed and loving. He knew that he was safe, and we promised him that we would never let anything bad happen to him again. Drake is doing great in foster and seems ready to go on to his new forever home. He is very happy and content and is just ready for someone to love him again.
Drake is fitting in beautifully in his foster home where he gets along wonderfully with all the other dogs he is fostered with including other Weims. Drake is a medium energy calm dog. He will need and will enjoy his good daily exercise and then he will settle perfectly in the house. He has lovely house manners and is housebroken.
Although Drake is a mellow guy, he also has lots of spunk if you feel like a hike too. He will go with the flow. If you are in the mood for a hike or jog he's right there with you. Or if it's a rainy day and you want to curl up under the blankets, Drake will be by your side. He is the perfect mix of easy and fun and blends right in.
Drake is a very healthy happy boy who just wants to be a best friend. You really couldn't do better than to have the love of this fellow. And in return, Drake will give you such loyalty and love.
Drake is a very healthy sound boy who has been neutered and microchipped and he is up to date on vaccines.
Drake will do best in a home with another friendly canine companion to keep him company if you are away long hours. Or he would do great as your one and only if you are not gone super long days. Most Weims are real companion dogs and don't love life left alone all day. They can get lonely and bored and are happiest with a friend.
He will do best with a family who will take him out for a nice walk each day and maybe some weekend outings. And he is so well behaved he can even accompany you to work if your employer permits dogs.
