Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is BUDDY, I'm a big boy, a Weim weighing in at 105 lbs, but don't let my size scare you off, I'm a softy, just give me a rub behind the ears and I'm yours for life! At 2 years old, I love long walks in the woods where I stay right beside you, because after all you're my best friend too! I'm currently living with 2 labs, they're not as smart as me, but they like to run, I like to chase, but we mostly just play. I love to exercise. I also live with several busy humans, Dad, loves to take me out it the park and take nice long hikes. Mom is busy with the three children always running around. Lauren is 7, Teddy is 4 (both in human years) and there's this new thing that is really small that squeaks a lot seems like she's a really small baby. Seems like those humans had a really tough go of it because the mom was gone for a really long time then she came back without the big belly that she had before, then this squeaky thing came along a month later, that smells funny and everyone makes funny faces at. Oh, and everyone is making these funny shhhhing noises. They seem happier now, but it's been a long summer.
I'm a pretty good listener, but sometimes I bark. Mostly because those Goldens next door are always barking and it seems they must be alerting someone to something, so I should let my owners have a heads up too. And sometimes if I smell something really good in the kitchen left out, after everyone is through and in bed, I'll sneak in and grab it. I love human food, don't get it a lot, but love it. Sometimes if there are extra people around, they'll forget and just push it to the back of the counter, but they forget that I can reach back there too. My owners are pretty good at keeping the extras out of the kitchen and it only happens every once in awhile, usually I don't care too much. I sleep in the den on a bed, although to tell you a secret, sometimes I'll sneak up on the couch. I have an invisible fence, I love to run, but I never, ever run though, that little buzz gets me every time, so why bother. There's nothing out there I don't have in here. But all in all my crimes are minimal.
I hate to hurt their feelings but with everything going on, I'm secretly looking for a new home. Now I know that would hurt them, but they just have too much going on lately. I'd love to find a home where it's a little less crowded. I don't mind when Teddy sits on me, or that Lauren fusses at me pretty good for a girl to make sure that I obey. I like the other two dogs too, but this new crying thing that everyone gets so worked up over is just too much. I need my space and to have a little more attention than these humans can give right now. But it needs to be the right place. It's not bad here and they really do love me an awful lot. I just want to be a little more center of attention and a little less background, if you know what I mean. I'll make the right family a perfect dog, I'm an overachiever. I'm eager and full of love, I just need a little more than I'm getting right now. So if that's what you've got to give, let me know and we'll see if it's a good match. If not, I'm good right where I am.
Thanks!
Buddy
