Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Banner arrived on 7 April 2013. He is one of many stray bunnies that were living in a rural community in North Grenville. His situation involves many stray (partially to fully feral) rabbits that have been allowed to breed and run free off of an individual’s property. Most of these rabbits are simply disappearing after a few weeks or month of being first seen or are being hit on roads and this is no life for these beautiful sweethearts. With the help of a few of the families in this rural community we are catching and taking in any of these bunnies that can be saved.
Banner is one of the lucky ones…
He was, when he first arrived, terrified of humans but he has been working very hard with his foster family to shed these fears and to trust and love his humans AND he is doing amazingly well.
He is, at this time, only adoptable to an experienced bunny owner. He needs a home that will understand that he needs to learn, to trust and to not be afraid. He needs a home that will help him continue to grow without judgment, someone with patience and who will remember to never take Banner's fear of them personally. He is an amazingly sweet and loving boy and we are honoured to have had this very rewarding opportunity to help him find a better life… a real life!
We are hoping that with time, Banner will lose his "Experienced Adopter Only" status as he continues to improve everyday!
Seriously... Banner is awesome!! He loves his treats, loves to spend his days flopped out on his back and is CRAZY for his toys.... even taking one to the vet clinic to play with yesterday when he was neutered (7 May 2013)!!
If you have questions about Banner’s care, progress or are interested in adopting Banner and helping him continue his rehabilitation, giving him the home that exists only in his dreams, contact us at info@newmoonrabbitrescue.ca with your inquiries!
