Hi, there! My name is Georgie. Mr. Wonderful to all of my fans. I am a 9 month old purebred male Shar Pei puppy. I weigh just under 40 pounds. My foster mom says that I’m as sweet and special as can be. And don’t let my good looks distract you – I am a darn good boy who knows how to sit, give paw, and lay down. I’m almost completely housebroken too – a few mistakes here and there, but I’m getting the hang of things pretty well!
Before I was rescued I was left in a back yard with my mom, dad and baby brother. I was covered in open bug bites and underfed and never saw the inside of a people house – even during the bad August storms! The great people at NAWS were contacted by the Alderwoman of the city and I was picked up right away by my foster mommy.
Since then I’ve learned to climb stairs, walk on floors and eat regular meals. My ears and nose and legs are healing pretty well too. I really love to be with my foster brothers and sister and my foster dad when he watches football. As far as personality goes – I am Mr. Easy Going. I give both Sharpei and doggy kisses. I love to snuggle with my doggie brothers and sister and my foster mom and dad. Mom says I snore, but I’ve never heard it. I like to ride in the car – I generally just lay on a blanket and sleep. I love yum yums and love, love, love belly scratches and under the chin rubs.
Since I’m young, I could definitely benefit from some additional training like learning how to walk in a harness and eat a little slower, but I learn quickly. And hanging out with me at doggy training could be loads of fun!
My ideal home would be a place where there is another dog or dogs to hang out and play with. Other than that, I just go with the flow. When I come live at your house I will be neutered, up to date on all of my shots and microchipped. I will even come with the snazzy collar, my own special blanket and bowl.
