Hello there, my name is Annie! I am a purebred beagle, and am as sweet as can be! I’m about 12 years old and weigh in at a curvy 35 pounds. A great day for me would include sun bathing, snoozing away on a comfy bed, taking a long walk after dinner, and of couse some yummy pieces of chicken! I would also make a great therapy dog! I am very gentle with the elderly and with children.

I am great with people, children and cats, but I do have some fear reaction to dogs, as I have been attacked by other dogs before. However, with the proper introductions, and if the other dog(s) is calm and submissive, we can co-exist just fine. I am currently living with my doggie sister, a chihuahua, and we have never had any issues.

I have to go out often and would be happiest in a home with a doggie door or with someone who is home to let me out. I also need a yard to sunbath in!

Change is hard on an older gal like myself & I will need a bit of an adjustment period in my new home, but a regular schedule, daily walks, and belly rubs will go a long way in helping me settle in. I am in great health, but I do have the usual old lady lumps and bumps, along with some cataracts.
