Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Marilyn and I am a cute and petite golden mix (35 pounds). Just at 4 years of age, my life has not been great up until this point. My family abandoned me and my little puppy in our home. Luckily someone called and they rescued us. After spending two weeks at a shelter while they looked for my family, I was able to put on a much needed 10 pounds. That is good news! Bad news is I have heart worms but the nice people with AGK found me a sponsor to pay for my treatment! I passed this fun behavior test at the shelter too - they said I was a social butterfly. So right now, I am recouping from my heart worm treatment and waiting on a family to fall in love with me. But I am quite cute - like a little bear cub kind of cute!
If interested adopting in Marilyn, please visit our website at .http://www.adoptagoldenknoxville.org/new_england.html. If all that looks good, please move forward and fill out an application on our Adopt A Golden page.
NOTE: Adopt A Golden Knoxville rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area. These dogs are fostered in private homes in East Tennessee. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups prior to their adoption. They are brought up north on a USDA transport
