My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calimese is a bit cautious at first when meeting new people but it doesn't take long for her to warm up as she very much enjoys attention. If you stop petting her and she thinks you should not stop, she will give you a little pat to let you know she has not had enough. Calimese had been hit by a car when she was found and suffered a head trauma resulting a detached retina in one eye. She needs no special care for her eye and is very healthy. We believe Calimese was born around 10/10/2005.

Calimese is spayed, feline leukemia negative, and all vaccinations are current. She is not declawed. If you are seriously interested in adopting Calimese or another cat, please come in and hang out with the animals so that you can get to know their personalities. Adoption policies and fees can be viewed on the Windmill Animal Rescue homepage on Petfinder.org. Note from Calimese , "If you think I'm cute but can't adopt me you could choose to sponsor me by donating money for my care or come in to play with me weekly until I find my forever home!"
