Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Ivy. I am a 4-5 yr old, spayed, chipped and declawed kitty. I was brought to the OC Shelter as a stray on March 9th with a collar and a name, but no owner info. I waited patiently for a month for my family to come rescue me and take me home, but no one came. I was so happy that The PRC came and decided to make me a PRC pet and give me another chance with a new family. I was saved from euthanasia on April 4th. I am an easy going girl. I like to lie in laps and sunbathe near windows. I absolutely cannot go outside due to my declawed paws. I am happy indoors or just being near you. I would love to be your only friend! I have a lot of life and love to give still and hope to find the perfect new home to call my own. Please meet with me today.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
