Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spanky is a real doll. He has the most beautiful eyes- kind of a green brown with dark eyeliner, like a silent movie star! And a little bit of dark brown with cute white marks on the backs of his feet. Spanky is a sweet natured and gentle dog, more interested in exploring and playing with toys than playing a lot with other dogs, though he is great with other dogs. He is submissive and avoids confrontation. He does bark at the cat, though with a little supervision we will teach him to leave one alone - he wasn't being aggressive, just curious and uncertain. He's a sensitive boy, wants to be with people, and enjoys being held and petted, though initially a little shy. He seems to like everyone he meets. He LOVES his crate, and sleeps through the night with no problems. Given free range he often goes into his crate to sleep or when he is frightened. He's going to be a big dog, and we are working on the basics with him. He also LOVES food, so it's easy to train him using treats. He rides well in the car, just goes to sleep in his crate.
Our adoption fee is 400 dollars and includes spay/neuter, microchip, at least one veterinary exam, deworming x 2, the entire DHPP vaccine series, bordetella and a rabies vaccine as well as a heartworm test at age 6 months.
The breeds of shelter puppies are not known and can not be guaranteed, this is only a guess. We treat each dog as an individual, focusing on personality and behavior. For more information, please visit: http://www.nationalcanineresearchcouncil.com/breed-identification-1/
Please visit and like our Facebook page and look at the "peaches that need forever homes" album for up to date pups available for adoption. In addition, please view our mission statement which is to rescue puppies from high kill shelters and bring them to the northwest where we do not have as many puppies. Our website has information on all things Georgia Peaches as well as training resources and a place to sign up for our newsletter.
