Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you are interested in adopting P.J. please go to our website at www.floridayorkierescue.com and complete an online adoption application.
P.J. is a ten year old Maltese. He was seriously emaciated when he arrived but has gained almost one pound now. (check out his Youtube video) He was neutered and received a dental cleaning as well as all of his vaccinations. He is microchipped, fecal negative and heartworm negative. He had many teeth removed but not all. He is on Heart meds twice a day for a pretty significant Heart Murmur, however he made it through surgery just fine and since being put on his Heart medicine, he has gotten quite active and playful. We are sure he is feeling so much better and has been keeping up with the energy of our younger dogs. He is full of kisses and is a very affectionate dog. He sleeps well in his crate at night. We are trying to get him pee wee paper trained but belly bands also work well. He does have cataracts but can see quite well out of one eye. He is also almost deaf. We know that P.J. has some challenges but you would never know it by looking at him. He just needs a home where he will be loved and cared for properly. He could live another 5 years or longer... who are we to say? Can you find it in your heart to give this precious little boy a loving home?
