Jake was found wandering the streets when he was about 6 months old. He is a very adoptable dog. Very easy going and gets along with other dogs. He should be good with kids but he is almost 100# so would be better with bigger kids. He walks well on a leash.

More about this rescue
Easthaven Dog Rescue is a small rescue organization and shelter. We rescue homeless, neglected, abused and/or abandoned pets, mainly from the Easthaven subdivision. We also have a program called "Shelter in Place." Shelter in Place assists people who currently own pets but want to give up their pets because of problems. We help solve the problems, allowing the owners to keep their pet. Some of the problems we help with include: owner can't afford vaccines or medical treatment, training and socialization problems, containment issues (no fence or fence needs repair), and other problems. We like to teach people what their pets need. Feel free to call or write if you have any pet questions.
Donations of cash or supplies are always appreciated. We would welcome volunteers who would help bathe or walk dogs.
