Everyone, meet Marty, a 1 year old black Pitbull pup.. Marty was rescued from the Philadelphia SPCA, where he was treated for wounds to his leg. Unfortunately, one of his rear legs was so badly wounded and became infected and it couldn’t be saved and had to be amputated. But that doesn’t slow him down one bit. Marty is pure happiness on three legs! He has healed nicely, so now CSAC is trying to find this little guy a new family where he will be safe, cared for, and loved forever!
He is active as a young dog would be, plays well in his foster home. He is a cuddler…loves to lay right next to you. No food issues observed, as he is fed with 3 other foster dogs. He does well with the cat, while curious, he hasn’t bothered her at all. He sleeps all night on the bed, doesn’t move at all. He’s just overall a very sweet, loving guy. He does pull on a leash, obviously has not spent a lot of time on one. We will start working on that with walks. He loves everyone he meets, and everyone he’s come in contact with, whether children, men or women, he is great!
If you have room in your home and heart for a little guy like Marty, please complete an Adoption Application right away so you can be together as soon as possible. Thanks!
