My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darla is an approximately 1 - 1 1/2 year old piebald female with natural ears. Update 9/29/13 - Darla's foster mom is doing a great job with her and has been working on the "watch" command when Darla sees another dog. Darla is selective with the dogs she meets, so its important to do a slow introduction which means no dog parks. She's been having play dates with a 20 months old male Dane Petey and they both seem to enjoy chasing and wrestling with each other. Darla does well with a male dog that enjoys playing and running as much as she does. Even while she's playing with Petey she'll run over to get a pat or praise from her foster mom before she goes back to play. Darla is wonderful around people and children and wants to be part of any family event, even if its just sitting on the couch watching TV and snuggling with a family member. She would be great in a home that would take the time to work with her and include her in their activities.
