My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Jake, a 5 year old white lab mix. I spent the majority of my life in a backyard dog run with little or no human interaction. Then I found myself at the shelter with my life at risk. The wonderful team at S.A.F.E. Rescuers stepped up to save me. I am a very quiet, calm boy so hectic environments are far too much for me. My foster home was full of children and lots of visitors which caused me a lot of anxiety and I bit someone. I was evaluated by a very good trainer and he said I just need a calm, very structured environment with defined expectations. I am so worth the little bit of time it would take to adjust me to your environment. Can you offer that for me? I do fine with other calm dogs and I love cats and small kittens. I am very gentle.
