Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Courtesy posting for Foothills Animal Clinic, Forest City, NC
Troy was found injured by a good samaritan and brought to the clinic to be treated. Newspaper ads were taken out for his owner to claim, but no one showed up.
As you can tell from his photo, Troy had been attacked by another animal. He was treated and is doing very well. He has been neutered and brought current on his vaccines. He tested negative for heartworms and is on prevention.
Troy is a sweet little boy with people, but does not like big dogs. He does get along fine with small dogs his size wanting to play and run in the yard. We do not know if he is house trained, but he keeps his cage at the clinic clean till he is taken outside to potty. He is good on a leash for walks. He does get a little car sick when riding in a crate, so not sure if it is because he is crated or does not like car rides. He is great with people and we feel he would do fine with older children and a fenced backyard. Troy chases cats, so a kitty free home is desirable.
If you would like to adopt Troy, contact Patti Phillips at Bunnydog@bellsouth.net
Troy is located in western N.C., please consider transportation issues before applying to adopt him. His adoption fee is $100.00 which will help reimburse his vet costs.
