My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maddie is a sweet pup who was rescued from deplorable conditions at a high kill shelter. Her original rescuer meant well but brought Maddie into overcrowded conditions where she got little individual attention. When Maddie came to us she was very, very shy except for her foster family. Maddie has made great progress and is very playful she loves playtime in the yard with her friends. In the house Maddie will snooze or entertain herself quietly. She likes to be near her people and will happily snooze on your feet while you work on the computer or watch TV.

Maddie loves other dogs and would especially enjoy a home with another dog for company. Ideally Maddie needs a calm adult home in which to continue to blossom. She's been boarded with a trainer who is including two sessions to help Maddie's new guardians continue her progress. She's still a shy pup but her progress has been very good.

Maddie is about 10 months old and weighs approximately 35 pounds. She's spayed, current on vaccinces, wormed, and microchipped. Maddie has been on monthly flea preventative since coming to us.
