Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This lovely gal was rescued after unknown owners dumped her, we evaluated her to be a GSD/Malinois mix although she looks very GSD. She is good natured and friendly and outgoing personality. She is good with other dogs but can be very dominant with a submissive dog. Great with people, is naturally cautious at a first greeting but it only takes a minute to allow petting from a new person. Crate trained, UTD on Vaccinations, heartworm negative tested, spayed and will be microchipped before going home with an adopter. She is ear tattooed now and we believe she was the result of an intentional GSD/Malinois breeding, they are called Shepinois are usually bred for working jobs. She is living in the house now, and we were told she was previously housetrained at her foster home so we checking on that to be sure, but no issues so far. She sleeps in her crate when not being supervised indoors. This is high drive animal with all the curious and high stimulation behaviors of the typical Malinois, it's high energy and she moves quick, so if you are familiar with Malinois she will be pretty typical in behavior. Fairly good on a leash, but no formal leash training on her yet. She acts pretty young but she's confident and friendly. We prefer that her adopter be familiar with the Malinois breed for best success. The only reason we marked experienced adopter is for her high energy level, this is not a lay-around-the-house type of pet, she needs exercise and activity to be happy, so an active family is best, she is not otherwise difficult to handle. Adoption fee and adoption agreement are applicable, see us on Facebook at A Lincoln German Shepherd Rescue Shelter. Dogs are shown by appt. evenings and weekends, and you must have a pre-adoption application on file to make an appt. to meet a dog.
