Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rescued alongside the road by a good Samaritan, Angel was found one freezing cold night late in January '13 - the night the Arctic cold descended on SW Michigan. Her backbone and ribs were visible through her fur, and clearly she would not survive one more night of starvation out in frigid cold.
Weighing only 4.8 pounds, she was surprisingly in good health in spite of her situation. She has now made a complete recovery, she is in very good health, and her weight is up to a whopping 6.1 pounds. The veterinarian says she will always be a small kitty. She is about two-years old.
Because of her small stature, Angel looks and acts younger than her two years. She plays like a kitten and loves her catnip toys. In the morning she sits on her foster mama's lap and purrs, purrs, purrs while she is being petted. Finally, she decides it's time to play and her attention is on the toy box where she pulls out one toy at a time and tosses it around the room or up in the air. Angel is a loving little kitty who arches up to meet your hand when you reach down to pet her.
She loves interacting with other cats and a gentle small dog, and she would really love to share a home with other friendly pets. We expect that she will be equally easygoing around children.
For more information about Angel or to meet her, please contact her foster mama, Jan, at mama2katz@juno.com.
Come and visit Angel, who will be at the upcoming adoption events:
