Here's what the humans have to say about me:
9/23/14 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!
Adoption Fee: $500
Fostered in Texas
Age: 2 years
Weight: 8.3 lbs.
6/7/13 - Good Morning:
I realized today that my bio needed a little touching up to explain me to you, so here goes.
As previously informed, I was found running stray with a Chi friend (who found shelter with another rescue group) by my foster mom. Seems my friend and I had been on the run for quite some time since several people commented that they had seen us previously but couldn’t catch us. We were scared! Well, the day foster mom saw us and coaxed us to her, we just could not resist that kind face. AND, we were tired, hungry and our feet hurt.
Well, I have been in my foster home now since the end of February and my personality is just shining. I love to get belly rubs, kisses, be petted and snuggle with my humans. I also love other dogs that love to play and need another playful pup, along with an army of toys, in my new home. Since I’m puppy, I have a very short attention span and am somewhat clueless when it comes to things such as which four leggers do and do not want to play. Point being, if I try to play with one that doesn’t want to play, they growl, I just think it is a flaw on their part and toddle off happily trying to find another victim to engage in play. Despite what people think about puppies, I am NOT a chewer, which I’m told is a good thing.
I am what foster mom calls a casanova. When I decide to invest in some down time, I will find another pup and lay next to themor my owners. I like to be touching someone. It makes me feel secure.
I am definitely not an alpha and new situations and places make me timid and nervous. I’m just a shy little sweetheart, but I warm up quickly when I know that everything is safe and I am loved.
I am ok with baths and walk good on a leash, but this will not be a substitute for me having a fenced in yard, because I love to run around in the backyard. I’m curious at times, so will need a secure front entryway so I won’t dart out when the pizza man brings my Friday night snack. Even though I am a human bouncing ball and can jump very high, a baby gate would work to keep me away from escaping. I tend to bounce straight up rather than up and over. My long legs help me with my boing, boing, boing.
At my foster home, I have free roam and will use those little tinkle pads, but still sometimes feel the need to mark, but am getting better with that. I am also allowed to sleep in the big bed with my people currently, so don’t think that I’m going to be snoozing on the floor in my new home.
To sum my up, I love men, women, dogs, toys, life, and so on, and so on. So..... what are you waiting for, apply to adopt me. July the 4th is coming up and I can twirl a mean sparkler.
3/31/13 - Hi. My name is Robin, and I am one year old. Until recently, I had lived most of my life on the streets of Northwest Houston with my fur brother, Batman, and the rest of our gang. But recently, we met these two really nice people that gave us some food and took us to their home. They made me go to visit a doctor, which was not too bad, and also take a bath, which was no fun at all. Other than a few cuts and bruises from life on the streets, the doctor said I was in really good shape. I’ve been staying with my new family for a few weeks and really enjoy playing with all the other puppies there. Now that Batman and I don’t have to hunt for food all day, we have plenty of time to play fetch or chase our new brothers and sisters around the house and yard. I would love to find a forever home with another puppy that likes to play as much as I do. Maybe that home is with you?
