My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucky has finally reached salvation!! Lucky is a wonderful Jack Russell mix who has had quite a life! Lucky was originally in PA, when he was hit by a car. The person who hit Lucky, took him and brought him home to NY. The person never got Lucky checked out by a vet, and now Lucky has a bowed front leg. It doesn't stop Lucky from running around and being an all around great guy. Lucky was used for breeding, it is assumed that he is part chihuahua, and he was bred to other mixes as well. A nice lady finally rescued Lucky from this life and we have him in rescue now. Lucky is just the nicest dog. He is crate trained and is house trained. He's up to date on his shots. Lucky is great with other dogs and kids! He would be great for a person who has always wanted a JRT, but wasn't able to keep up with one. Lucky is lower engergy than most JRT's and is just as happy and content snuggling as he is jogging.
