Meet Timothy. A little fellow that was dropped off like garbage in an NC animal control night drop off box. Left alone, waiting for some one to come back for him. They never came. Timothy is ready to begin a new life. He is a tiny(only 6.2 lbs), sweet, precious, and loving boy. The Vet believes him to be around six years or a little older. He has a trachea condition that can cause him to cough. It is controlled with medication once or twice a day as needed. Timothy only has a couple of teeth left, but LOVES his food. He can be grouchy over the food bowl to the other dogs. (he has not been grouchy to me) You could understand this if you could see the condition he was in when he was dumped. He also squeals when picked him up because he thinks he is going to be hurt. He is going to take some time to heal emotionally. Timothy will need a calm environment. His fur had to be shaved completely down because he was so nasty and matted to his skin. However it is growing back and he is going to be very handsome. Timothy is wearing a ‘belly wrap’ in the house to help with is housetraining. He is going to need help and training in this area. It is not an issue here because I have several that wear them and our floors stay dry. Please understand Timothy has been abused, beaten, scared, and mistreated to a degree that few of us can understand. He was also abandoned. These are serious issues that are not going to heal over night. He is going to need kindness, consistency, love, and care for the rest of his life. Please do not inquire about him if you cannot commit to meeting these kinds of needs. He is going to make some one an awesome fur kid. Timothy deserves love.
