My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jacquelyn a ray of sunshine and happiness! This 5 ½ month old puppy was found wandering a Southern California street with a severe eye injury requiring immediate medical care. The person, who found her, contacted American Maltese Assoc. Rescue asking for our help. Jacquelyn was immediately taken to Cypress Animal Hospital in Covina, CA. Our vet determined that Jacquelyn was a victim of a savage animal attack. Her badly injured eye had to be removed. Jacquelyn was also further evaluated at the Eye Clinic in Pasadena, and it was determined that her vision in her other eye could not be restored.

Now for the amazing part, Jacquelyn acts like a typical 6 month old puppy. She comes when you call her name especially when the word “treat” is included. Jacquelyn freely maneuvers throughout our house and yard. She enjoys playing with toys and other young dogs.

If you are seeking a happy, friendly little 9 ½ lb (Havanese or Lhasa pup) who loves people and other dogs, Jacquelyn would make a terrific companion dog. Please check out Jacquelyn’s video to see this amazing little dog.
