Northern California Weimaraner Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

MIKA, 3 y/o male Weimaraner. Mika is a big boy (tall) with a big heart and lots of love to give! He loves to be with people and is good with kids age 8 and over. Mika’s foster family has learned that he needs structure and clear direction to help him understand the household rules. This big guy loves to go to the dog park to run and play, but one of his favorite activities is playing fetch! He has great agility skills for someone who would like to bond with Mika and expand upon this natural skill. Mika has enjoyed working on obedience skills in his foster home, and now knows “sit, stay, down, out, and come.” Mika also likes to go for rides in the car. He gets a little excited at first, but then just lies down. He is very social with dogs of all sizes, but will do best with larger dogs in the home. He would benefit from having a stay at home human to dote on him and would adore having a dog companion (or more than one) to keep him company when his people are out. After a day of Weim-style fun and exercise, sweet Mika likes to cuddle on the sofa with his humans and enjoy a night of rest over popcorn and a movie! Mika is neutered and current on vaccines.
