Introducing Anubis - a 5 year old human and dog friendly boy who can be handled all over. Anubis is very active and playful, but seems to have learned to play very inappropriately with his mouth in a previous life, particularly with males. Because of this, he would be best in an adult-only forever home, though he might also be fine with very mature older teenagers. He is improving, but he will nee...d his new family to be very consistent with redirecting and calming him. He appears to be quite trainable given how well he focuses on his humans. Anubis clearly enjoys companionship and would be best with someone human or dog to be with him regularly. He has lived with a larger non-basenji. Any canine companions should not take poking or noise personally, since Anubis will insist on play and will shriek like a little girl if his skin gets a little pinched or pulled (even though he is not taking it personally). Anubis is in the Tampa Bay area. His adoption fee is $200.
