Update 2/9/13: Say 'hello' to Lenny!
Lenny is a 1.5 year old that volunteers recently rescued from a local pound.
If we had to describe Lenny in one word we would say FRIENDLY! He absolutely LOVES people. He loves to cuddle. He loves to play. He's also great with other dogs, chasing them all around the house and yard.
Lenny is silly and chases his own tail sometimes for fun. He is also an AWESOME jumper. You could teach this little guy some fun tricks! He has lots of playful energy to share.

While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.
In addition, this animal has been microchipped for identification purposes through HomeAgain's® Chip FurKeeps program. Adopters are required to pay the additional one-time,$10.99 microchip registration fee (which lasts the lifetime of the animal) upon adoption.
Info. about Sadie Mae Foundation's adoption process Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals.
