Breed/Age: Murray is a 9 month old Shih Tzu. We believe he could possibly be purebred, but don’t know for sure.


Size: Murray is a small dog, weighing 10 pounds


Activity Level: Murray is a fairly calm dog. He has moments of high energy where he’ll race around, but for the most part he is relaxed and extremely well mannered


Foster Family Observations: Murray is just a sweetheart! His tail is wagging all the time and he absolutely LOVES to be cuddled. If you pick Murray up he will nuzzle up and place his head on your shoulder and snuggle. Murray gets along with adults and children, though with his small size he should be monitored around young children so that he is not injured. Murray is fostered with 2 dogs larger than him and gets along with them both!


Murray is not afraid of going outside – not even in the middle of a snowstorm – although he does prefer to potty inside on a piddle pad.


Murray does not cry in his kennel, he doesn’t seem to bark at strange noises, he is very respectful and well mannered in the home. He knows basic commands.


Murray seems to be much more interested in people than he is in toys. He also loves to play with his treats for awhile before he eats them! If you view the video that is attached to this profile you can witness it first hand.


He is a wonderful dog who is sure to capture your heart!
