Meet our beautiful Nika!

Nika weighs about 45-50 pounds at 8 months, and is about 2 feet tall. She's in excellent health. She will probably be about 60 lbs when she is full grown. She has been spayed and is up-to-date on her shots. Because she came from a shelter as a puppy, we aren't sure of her breed, it's a best guess; she might have a little Australian Kelpie in her due to her unusual markings.

Nika is a sweet, smart, playful puppy. She loves to play fetch, tug of war, 'find it', also 'find me'. She understands much of what we say. She is crate trained and can sleep in a crate all night. Nika is house broken. She loves having her belly rubbed. She is not destructive or aggressive. She understands 'sit', 'lie down', 'gentle' (when you are giving her a treat by hand), and often 'stay'. She love to play with other dogs. At Pt. Isabel she runs totally free and has a blast.

Nika's only bad habits in the house are shoe and sock stealing. She has never been around cats. Nika has some fear issues around men, so we feel the best home for her would be a one mom or two mom home or in a home with another dog. She is very smart and because of this sometimes she can be a little stubborn. Smart dogs need a lot of stimulation and Nika would be great in a home where there is a lot of stimulation and exercise.
