AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.
Blanche is a 4 year old female surrendered from a large breeding operation in SC when she was not profitable. Blanche is a very tiny girl and could not reliably carry pups. We appreciate the fact that her owner gave her to rescue instead of trying to sell her or give her to a "flipper" where she would continue to be neglected. She came into rescue with a terrible skin infection and eye infections but most importantly, she had a uterine infection that threatened her life. She has been spayed and the infection treated. Presently, we are working on socialization and her self confidence. With little human contact in the past, she is a sweet girl but very fearful of the world around her. We are unsure at this time if she will get along with other dogs. Blanche will not be available for adoption until she is a bit more comfortable with this new world.
