Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*******IMPORTANT****** IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OF OUR DOGS PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE AND FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. AFTER WE HAVE AN APPLICATION ON FILE WE WILL COMMUNICATE SPECIFICS ABOUT THAT PARTICULAR DOG. WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE, OVERWHELMED BY THE NUMBER OF DOGS WE HAVE IN OUR FOSTER PROGRAM AND ARE UNABLE TO ANSWER OR CALL UNTIL WE HAVE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION.
Meet Fiona who has been with our rescue for over a year while she underwent rehabilitation. Fiona came into rescue grossly overweight and heartworm positive. She had been dumped at the shelter along with 2 german shepherds in 11/2011. Apparently, Fiona had a mate that was killed by the German Shepherds. The attack on Fiona's mate gave her time to scurry (as fast as she could with all the extra weight) to safety. Then all three remaining dogs were dumped at the shelter.
Since entering rescue, Fiona has been brought up to date on shote, spayed and had her heartworm treatment done. It became apparent during her recovery that she also suffered with knee issues, probably from being so grossly overweight. Both knees have been repaired and Fiona is now ready for a forever home.
