Q-tip - 2-3 yr. old Minature Poodle (10-15 lbs):
Q-tip was lost on the streets of Detroit. Our volunteer went to pick him up, and he felt like a bag of bones. He was so emaciated and dehydrated, he needed iv fluids. He's still in the process of gaining weight, and will be on hold for a couple more weeks when hes not so fragile. We believe he had frost bite as well. He's one year old and still quite playful. He does have a little food aggression due to the starvation he suffered. We believe this will pass in time, when he learns he is safe and can count on regular feedings. He requires an adult home that is stable and quiet. He needs a yard too, as he still has puppy energy, and is not so great on a leash yet. If you have children, you need not apply. He is not mean, but we want him to have what he needs. He has been working hard on his potty training, and is catching on like a champ!!!
