My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Neglected Senior Poodle needs special home.

We are calling her Rita after Saint Rita of Cascia. Saint Rita of Cascia patronage is abused women, grievous injuries, and hopeless causes. I think our poor Rita has seen her fair share of hardship.

Rita is an 8-9 year old female Poodle who has been neglected way too long. She has major issues with arthritis. She also had fluid in her eyes and lungs, and she was on Lafix for that. All of these medications for this poor senior girl that someone decided was not worth their love any longer.

She has made a lot of progress of the past few months. While she still has arthritis and is your typical 'old lady'but she is happy and very mobile.

She needs a very special foster/adopter that can give her an awesome home for the rest of her life. She is not currently on a daily medication regiment but would best be suited with someone who stays at home or a retired couple.

She is a sweet and lovey girl that deserves the best in the world!
