Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dog Story:
Petey is a very kind and loving 7/8 year male Brittany. He gets along very well with other dogs, (as long as they are not trying to steal his treats)! He will always let you know when he is hungry, thristy, or needs to go outside. He is very affectionate. He loves to have his belly rubbed. Most of all, he just wants someone to love him.
History:
Petey came to ABR Heartworm Positie and with a nasty ear infection. He has just finished his heartworn treatments and is also finishing up some meds for his ears. He is certainly on the road to better health. Petey also has hip dysplasia, but does not seem to let it slow him down. He still likes to get outside and move around.
Petey has just had his annual vet check and vaccinations update. The vet loved his disposition and manners. His checkup was great with some more meds administered for his ears. He remains heartworm negative. His new foster home has cats and kittens. Petey has no problem getting along with them. They, however, have had a time adjusting to him. He's a big fellow at 66lbs. (Kind of intimidating for the cats.) His new foster family has a Brittany of their own, a 9 month old female named Libby. Petey and Libby get along great. Petey can easily adjust to a new loving home if someone wants to take a step towards adopting him. He has lots of affection to share. He is great in the house and lets you know when a trip outdoors is necessary. His hip dysplasia, while noticeable, doesn’t seem to have any negative impact on his desire to get around. There's alot of spark left in this loving animal.
