Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calm Gizmo strolls into the rescue weighing in at 17 lbs.He is about 8 years old, chilled out and confident that he will get adopted soon. He is usually low-key, but he loves to be around people, even if it's just sitting at your feet. I think he views himself as more of a person than a dog -- sometimes when he is around other dogs he can seem completely disinterested! He had a leg injury when we took him in, and we had hip surgery and lots of physical therapy done on it to make sure it healed, but he has a knee problem on the same leg that still gives him pain sometimes. We think he was stepped on as a puppy and his injuries weren't treated, but he doesn't let it slow him down much. Now and then though, you can tell it is bothering him and Gizzy protects himself by being a little cranky when it comes to touching or picking him up in a way that would aggravate his leg. Needs a loving forever family that will spoil him every day of his life. To apply for this cool cat visit www.pugrescueaustin.com/adopt
