My name is Ruby, and I am being fostered in Parsons, TN. I have already been spayed and up to date on my shots. I was born around November 5th, 2012. My life did not start out too well. See, my foster mom’s son found me digging in the garbage the night before New Year’s Eve. I only weighed 6 lbs. I was cold, dirty, hungry, and weak. When he took me inside to get food and water, I was so exhausted that I didn’t even want to look up. But by New Years Day, things were really looking up! I had been to the vet, and he killed the fleas and worms for me. I had a warm place to rest and lots of food. I realized I really love being part of a family. I love to play with my foster family and their dogs. I also like to snuggle up with my foster mom and get a good belly rub. I have lots of toys here, and I love them. My foster mom says that I am a very smart girl and just adorable. I am being crate-trained and working on not having accidents in the house. I walk well on a leash and am even learning to sit when she tells me to. As of January 22, 2013, I weigh 12 lbs. I know I am a very lucky dog, and all I need now is a forever family to call my own!
