Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS WHAT HER FAMILY SAYS ABOUT HER.ALLIE IS APPROX 5 years old, in her prime. She is beautiful, sweet and kind but we would have to say , no small dogs.
We received Allie at approx 6 months of age. We got her as a companion for our jack russell. In the mean time we had a baby girl. Allie has always been very close to our daughter. Anytime she made a peep Allie was by her side making sure she was ok. There were never any problems between the two dogs until approx 2 years ago. We had recently moved and while my mom was watching my daughter at our house they got into their first fight. What initiated the fight is unknown although we feel it always started when my Mother was there.. On a daily basis she has been fine around the jack russell and has never been a threat to our two cats. She does chase them every once in a while but it's all in innocent fun. We have decided that due to the circumstance it is no longer safe to keep the dogs together. Like I mentioned earlier, Allie is amazing with kids of all ages, she could use more exercise than we are able to give her at this time but she doesn't need excessive exercise to keep her happy. I actually trust her more with my daughter than I do my jack russell. Due to the jack Russell's weight and declining health we have decided it would be best to try to find Allie another home that will love her just as much as we do. She seems to do good with dogs in general. We have taken her to dog parks in the past but about a year and a half ago, without any problems. She has also been around my moms three dogs as well (retrievers and a border collie) and there have been no issues. She is crate trained for night time and is mainly kept inside during the day. If the weather is nice and I am out for a short period of time (up to 4hrs or so) I will let her play outside in the yard. We don't have any issue with her escaping or digging out of the yard. We don't like leaving her outside because there is a dog next door that barks a lot (we don't want our dogs to cause any unwanted neighborhood commotion) and we live in rattlesnake territory. She really is an amazing dog and we want to find the perfect home for her. Allie is not over protective with her humans nor is she over reactive to people coming and going to visit. She is not an excessive barker.
ALLIE IS A NICE GIRL, Just because she doesn't get along with the smaller, older dog does not mean she isn't a good girl. Small dogs and large ones don't always get along. ALLIE NEEDS A NEW HOME. PLEASE if she fits into yours do contact us. Both dogs need this to happen for their safety and for their peace of mind. There is a misconception that a dog that gets into a fight with another dog might harm children. You see here how she loves children and she does take a lot of mauling from her little child friend.Reasonable mauling that is.
