Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cole is a 165 pound blue male with natural ears who will be turning 8 in February. He came to rescue due to divorce. Cole is a sweet and affectionate boy once he gets to know you. He tends to communicates through a growly bark when he really wants something or is playing, and "talked" a lot by growling when he first came to his foster home. Cole loves to play with his toys his favorite game is Tug of War. He did show a little aggression towards the vet but I think that’s because he was very nervous and had never met him before and was in a new environment (the vet came to his foster home). A week later the vet was back to the house and Cole acted like they were best friends. He loves to lean, kiss, and lay by your side. Cole knows basic commands such as sit, down, easy, and leave it. He also walks good on a leash. He has no food aggression but is a very messy eater. He’s good with other dogs big and small and loves his foster sisters one who is a Dane/Dalmatian mix 105lbs and the other one a Pomchi 16lbs. We are unsure of cats and hope to be testing him soon on this. He does not seem to be very prey driven though. Cole does suffer from mild separation anxiety and chewed up the door knob on the door, the molding around the door, and destroyed a metal pet gate when he was left alone shortly after coming to his foster home. He is now crated when no one is home, and he does much better. He actually walks right into his crate when we tell him to. His foster home also keeps a radio on for him so he doesn’t feel so lonely. He has not chewed anything when his family is home. Cole is looking for a family that will love him through his senior years.
