My story

Hello! Katie here and I am a 6 year old Beagle and I weigh 20 pounds. Did you lose something? I can find it with my big nose!! I am glad I don't have to fend for myself anymore thanks to the nice lady that found me wandering the streets near Harrisburg, IL. I was starting to get really thin when she found me and brought me to the vet. She couldn't care for me but the doctors know the people at Safely Home Canine Rescue. I got taken care of by the doctors and the staff until a foster home came open and now here I am!! I am so happy.

In case you're wondering, I am super sweet and I like other dogs. At first, I am not sure about you so I do my submissive pose until you show me you are kind. I'm still a little scared from being by myself, but the man who picked me up said I was doing really good. Oh and since I am a Beagle, you probably already know I am cute, but really - I am cuter than most. You may also think I bark and howl non-stop - well I don't! If you provide a permanent home for me, I will provide permanent love and affection. Look below to find out more!
