My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

rystal is a 1 yo Lab to Leash retiree. She has been terrific in foster care. :) She has picked up on crate training and keeps her crate clean. She also has adapted to house training, so will need continued work on it, but is making great progress! She is learning to let you know when she has to go out. She does well walking on a leash, too! Despite her age, Crystal is not 100% high energy, but is very happy to settle in and loves to relax on the couch by the fire.
Crystal loves people and we think she'll be good with older children. Young children will likely overwhelm her. Crystal loves to play with similar aged dogs, and since many of our lab retirees do better with other dogs, we are looking for her to have a canine companion in her forever home.Crystal has a beagle voice and has learned how to use it, so we would not recommend her for an apartment. She is not a problem barker, but you certainly know she is around when she uses her voice! Crystal would LOVE a fenced in yard to run around in and play with her future furry sibling!
