Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toby's Cat-Tale: Toby was found in a box on Cat-Tales Rescue's frontporch at the end of July. At the time he'd had a bad/scary eye infection. The infection was cleared up and it was found that he, most likely was clawed in that left eye by a littermate. The corneal scar causes a opaque area on part of his left eye, he runs and plays as if nothing is wrong. He merely has an imperfection in his eye(it doesn't have to be removed).
Toby is estimated to be born June 15, 2007. Toby is a very energetic kitten....he puts the 'energizer bunny' to shame! He is a purr-baby....and will, literally, crawl up to your face to give you kisses. His corneal scar on his left eye - doesn't seem to slow him down abit. If you have the energy to keep up with the lovable little guy cast out from his home in a box because his previous owners didn't know how to care for him, please fill out an online application. Found on our homepage. He is VERY attached/bonded with Marky kitten (she is listed separetly).
At Cat-Tales Rescue we offer the option of Microchipping your cat, if not already done so [we've just started to do this this summer and have it done when they are spaye/neutered. We always take the cat back. It may be one year, three years or ten years down the road... we want the cat to have a home. Whether it be due to moving, allergies or something else. We're in it for the cats. We offer a discount if adopting a pair of kittens/cats...it is $10 off each adoption fee. Each cat[under 3 yrs of age] or kitten is $75 to adopt. It is $65/cat [under 3 yrs of age] or kitten if a pair is adopted at the same time. All of our animals are tested for FIV/FeLV [if they are kittens the mom is tested and we strongly suggest the new owners have them tested when they are 6 months of age, as a guideline for the cats health]. All are spay/neutered, vaccinated [if adopted before the age at which their rabies vaccine can be given (3-4 months of age) it is the owners responsibility to get them their vaccine]. We also treat them for earmites, roundworms/hookworms and if necessary protozoa and giardia. We give you all the baby photos we have. We also give you their favorite toys and some catnip. We have lots of information available in handouts if there is a subject that you have questions about [we use very well known internet sites on cat care]. We are always available should any questions arise. We offer cedar scratching posts that all of our cats use, we also have nail clippers that are at our cost. Trimming a kittens nails when they are falling asleep is the best time. It is just a matter of getting them into the habit a couple times/month of having it done.
