Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
WBRP SHELTER, PORT ALLEN, LA 225-336-2428
This is Xena, she's a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Although she doesn't have the prominent ridge, you can definitely tell that she is of the breed. Xena is a DELIGHTFUL gal, not an aggressive bone in her. I took her outside and rough housed with her and all she did was want more. Whoever owned her before must have taken her on car rides because when I opened the back of my SUV, she jumped in ...twice. She is just an all around good dog that would make a great buddy. She seems to do fine with other dogs and was curious about the shelter cat but didn't lunge or growl at it. Xena weighs 49 lbs and is approximately 3 years old. You can tell that she had puppies in the not so distant past and will need to be spayed to be taken out of the baby making business. She will need to have this done within 30 days of adoption. We welcome you to come by and meet her. If you are interested , please call the shelter ASAP.
NO ADOPTION FEE at WBRP Shelter. All applicants are carefully screened, shelter reserves the right to refuse adoption. Vet references may be asked for. For more pics of our other adoptable animals, visit our Facebook page at link below:
