My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bender: 5 yr old chocolate male, neutered, docked tail and cropped ears. 12", 14.5 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter.
We named him Bender because of the ADORABLE way his ear bends forward! Too cute! It's hard to believe a dog this sweet was abandoned at the shelter. When you talk to him he wiggles all over with excitement. He has to be on a diet right now because he's a bit heavy, but he hasn't complained one bit. Bender is a little hand shy and tends to jump away if your hands come at him too fast. Once he realizes you aren't upset with him, he's right back to being happy. I gate him in the kitchen when I leave with no problems. Also, he gets along with the other dogs in the house and tends to be submissive with them. Bender loves to go bye-bye and runs and jumps at the door if he thinks we are going somewhere. He sleeps in a crate at night, but would much prefer to sleep in bed with you because he loves to snuggle! Bender would do fine as an only dog or with brothers and sisters. He loves to talk to his person and the other dogs when he gets excited, so he's probably would do better in a home than an apartment. Please consider giving this terrific dog a loving home!
