Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Janie and her sister, Jennie were living in the parking lot of a McDonalds off a busy highway (45mph) South Boston, Virginia. They wandered through the busy parking lot, darting cars, while searching for food. The workers and some of the customers would feed them, but this was a dangerous place for these young girls to be living. The workers at this McDonalds informed me the kittens were strays and gave me permission to rescue them. I managed to catch one in a carrier by luring her in with food. The other one kept darting out. I went to Lowes in the area and bought a trap to set. It still took several hours, but I finally caught the second little girl. Now the sisters need a family to adopt them, hopefully, together, but if not, separately. They are currently with Sallie, a tuxedo cat. Janie is estimated to be six months old (Jennie and Sallie are also six months old). She is spayed; up to date with rabies; distemper; deworming; has been tested FeLv/FIV neg; has received one FeLV booster and will need addition FeLV vaccines; is litter box trained and shy but friendly. Janie is looking for an indoor home to be part of a family or a legit rescue to transfer to. Please contact Bev Menier/Stray Haven if you have an interest in sweet little Janie. bevmenier@gmail.com 804-727-4879 cell 434-676-1020 home. Please note: Janie has more white on her face than Jennie.
