II was really lucky finding a home for Skylar. I rescued another kitty that was with Skylar about 3 weeks ago. His name is Scout and he is about a year old. He has tested negative for feline leukemia, had all his shots and was neutered last week. I gave him medication for his ear mites and fleas as well. He is really sweet, especially for a cat that was living on the street.

INDOOR-OUTDOOR kitties have to be indoors for about 4 weeks before letting out under supervision or will become disoriented and disappear and they have to be spayed-neutered first. They would require an area safe from traffic, coyotes, foxes, etc and be in at night, before dusk and after dawn. The initial letting out should only be in warmer weather in case he/she hides at first and only under supervision. He/she should continue to be supervised while outside until comfortable with his/her outdoor surroundings.
