Max is a young adult and ended up at the kill shelter, looking very shaggy and underweight. ARC pulled him and brought him into foster. Max is crate trained, has recovered from all the trauma and is cute as a newborn baby. Max gets along with other dogs, loves to play and aggravate cats in his foster home. Max is a proud, happy dog now but would be even happier in his own home.

Max will be at Tractor Supply in Concord, NC on Saturdays, 1-4:00 PM until adopted. If you would like to meet any of our adoptable animals during the week, please call the contact person(s) noted at the top of the pet's description.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, rabies (age permitting). All dogs over 4-6 months of age are already spayed or neutered, has been vaccinated for parvo, etc. and rabies, HW tested and microchipped.

We don't know what these animals have gone through and endured, (or why) in their past lives to end up here. The only thing we can do is try, hope and pray we can give them a brighter future. We want our rescued pets to have stable, loving homes where they can get lots of love, attention and live out the remainder of their lives.

Animal care can be costly. Please consider whether you can afford and want the responsibility of a pet before you adopt so they never have to be homeless and end up in a shelter again.
