My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willy is in Taiwan with the Animal Rescue Team and eligible to come to the west coast if a qualified adopter is found. Here is his story:

Name: Willy
Age: 1-2 years old
Sex: Male (neutered)
Weight: 29 lbs
Breed: Mixed
Personality: VERY friendly, can get along with ALL very well
Medical record: all vaccinations, rabies, heartworm-tested negative, microchipped

About Willy:

Willy was hit by a truck and sent to the animal hospital in June. He had to undergo a surgery on his hipbone immediately but the cost was high. The owner promised to pay for all the cost the next day but he never showed up. He left a false address and an unreachable contact number. The vet had no other choice but to keep Willy for his recovery. Willy’s hind left leg is limping and it may take one or two months to be back to normal. Even though Willy is walking with one limping leg, he can walk, run and jump like a normal dog. He is very intelligent and has good manners. All the staff at the animal hospital love him for his sweet personalities.
Poor Willy didn’t know he was abandoned by his owner. He is a very smart dog. Whenever there is a visitor, his eyes are full of hope, expecting his owner. When he knows that it’s not his owner, disappointment appears in his face. After failing to contacting Willy’s owner, the vet turned him to the rescuer for the overseas adoption. Willy’s sweet personality made it hard for the vet to send the dog to the city pound. Willy is a dog who deserves a loving owner to take care of him. Anyone who keeps this dog will never feel regret in his life.

Adoption process includes completing a pre adoption applicaiton, homecheck, availability to meet the dog when it arrives at the airport where a local rescue rep will transfer the dog along with all the paperwork to you. You will sign an adoption contract and make a modest adoption donation of $125. You can take the dog home with you directly, there is no quarantine.
