My story

FOSTER LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT

Meet Cameo, a 3-5 year old domestic shorthair who spent way to long in a shelter arriving there on January 27, 2012! That is just so sad that Fuzzy Pawz Rescue took her into their foster program.

Cameo is the friendliest cat you will ever meet; dare we say she is super, super, super friendly with people and LOVES all the attention you can possibly give to her. She care who loves on her, adults, kids, strangers passing by. She is so easy going with people that Fuzzy Pawz recently took her to a bingo fundraiser where she wandered the tables the entire night making friends.

Only issue with Cameo is that she is not a fan of other cats or dogs; she would really prefer to be an only pet (others take away from her snuggle time with her human). Cameo does not actively go after other pets; she just ignores them for the most part unless they come into her space then she yells and will smack them.

As you can see from the photos Cameo needs to lose some serious weight, she is currently a whopping 20 pounds! Don’t tell her this but she has been on a diet for the past few weeks and has lost about 2 pounds, she came to us at 22 lbs. Her new family will need to keep her on this diet until her weight is under control – no free feeding for this girl.
